Random People: Jenna and Rob
Okay, so this is my first installment of the characters of people I know. I’m going to start off with 2 random people, and I’m going to give them new names. Not that anyone would care, but I just feel like it. We’ll call them Jenna and Rob (who says I don’t listen?!).
So I hardly know “Jenna” and “Rob” at all. They’re kind of friends of friends kind of thing. I do know a lot about them however and was happy to finally meet these two (note: I met Rob one other time, but just briefy).
So I’ve been told that these two are line crossers such as myself. I’m actually told this on a daily basis almost. Upon meeting them, I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get an immediate “line crossing” comments, but you know how it is when you first meet people, you have to be on good behavior or something.
After a few days though, I think I can see where the similarities in our personalities lie. It’s always refreshing to me to meet someone like me, especially when those people are cool. Jenna and Rob seem fairly cool, despite being a little older than me (not too much though). Not to say that old people aren’t cool. There are a few of them that are.
While I’m happy to know there are others like me out there, I am a little disappointed I haven’t found any good reasons to make fun of these people. One of my favorite things to do is laugh about people when they don’t know about it. Okay, I shouldn’t admit that, but I do it with love, and generally only to people I know can take it and would do it in front of them. So far all I got on these people is that they left one “organization” they work for, to go on vacation and stay at that same “organization” in a different state. Sounds like a fun summer vacation to me. But yeah, I guess it’s not about where you’re at, it’s about spending time with your friends? So I’m told anyway. If you believe that bologna, ask Misty how many times I came to visit her in California and how many times I visited her in North Carolina.
Okay, so overall, I give Rob and Jenna two thumbs up. I know, cheesy post, but I wanted to get started on the “characters” without putting too much thought into it just yet. Thats why I picked two people that I really don’t know at all.

Okay, so here are the different groups I’m going to blog about. All the different “characters” from my life. I’ve gotten into the habit of call people “characters” cause I think its funny. It is kind of fitting. They are characters in our own sitcom of life I think. So here are some groups I’ll post about:
(okay in order to not be too mean, I may make up some names for some of these people…who probably won’t be people who will ever see this, but out of respect for them, I’ll change their names and make it something funny and creative-or as creative as I can be anyway).
Vistas (past, present and Vista Groupies)
Bible study/church people
Roomates (past and present)
Family
Kentucky friends (even if they don’t live there anymore)
Work people (hm, this is close to the “church” group, but we’ll see)
Random people
Any other suggestions? I don’t think I come into contact with any other people really. If I do, they can be in the “Random” category I suppose.

No commentsYou’ve Got Gripes…
So the past two days, I’ve had not one, not two, but THREE different people ask about something I blogged about, or mostly didn’t blog about. It’s kind of amusing.
1. (Josh from CT): Why didn’t you blog about me coming to visit?
2. (Keva): Why didn’t you do a blog about my birthday party?
3. (Crystal): So, I see you’re definately not moving back to Lexington.
I’m not griping, I just find it amusing that people actually care about what I do and don’t write about. Maybe if people commented and made suggestions, I’d take them more seriously.
In my defense of numbers 1 and 2, I have to say I haven’t done too many personal blogs lately, not about my day to day life anyway. I’ve blogged this week some, but otherwise, they’ve been few and far in between.
In defense of number 3, well, I have no defense. Truthfully, I just forgot that Crystal lived there (or nearby in Georgetown). When I think of the negative things about Lexington, it obviously doesn’t include her. Although, living in the same place as Crystal was very nice, especially after some time of not living in the same town. At this rate, the same state would be nice.
As for you other two, and anyone else who feels I’ve neglected them in my bloggings, I’ll try to be a more active blogger. Hm, maybe I’ll even take some time at some point and do a separate blog about all of my friends, or at least the ones I talk to on a regular basis. That’s a though. Wonder what you guys would think of that? :)
