New Job
I guess I can post this now. I have been offered and accepted a permanent position with The Salvation Army here. My job title is Transitional Housing Program Manager. I’ll be in charge of the transitional housing programs (short-term and long-term). I’m a bit scared. It’s a good job though and I’m excited about it. I’ll start shadowing Susan (the lady I’m replacing) mid-December. So it looks like I’m staying in California indefinately now.
Also means I won’t be home for Christmas, as I’ll be in the middle of training. Susan’s last day is the 30th, so I’ll have (and need) those 2 weeks to train with her before she moves.
