Okay, so here is an update to the speed dating thing. I made it private cause I’ve already learned my lesson about the guys I’m dating reading my blogs, especially ones about them. I can’t really be totally honest that way, now can I? Not that either of these guys know where it is, but you never know. It wouldn’t be that hard to find if they wanted to.

Anyway, so from the Speed Dating thing, I had two mutual matches. Which means we both indicated we were interested in each other. Turns out, it happen to be my two favorites. For reference, #1 and #3. I’ve been out with both of these guys at this point.

#1 His name is Jason. He lives in Prunedale, works in the medical field and has a potbelly pig at home! He’s like 29, 30, or 31…I can’t remember. In that general area though. We went out on Valentine’s Day, but mostly ignored the fact that it was V-day (that would have been akward for a first date to not). We hung out at Starbucks and sit and talked for 2 1/2 hours. He has a great personality and is pretty cute. He is a good conversationalist. We may go out again soon, as soon as we can get our schedules together. I had a lot of fun with him.

#3 His name is Nathan. He lives in Santa Cruz with his roomates. I went out with him this past Saturday night to have dinner and see a movie. We had a nice time. He is a bit shy, but he is a really sweet guy. We also saw a movie Wed. night in Santa Cruz . I like him, and plan on continuing to see him and get to know him better. Like I said, he’s really shy, but I think once we get more comfortable, it’ll be a little different. I’m excited.

Overall, Nathan pretty much matches up to what I want more, personality wise and being a Christian. But the conversation is a little better with Jason and he’s fun to talk to. So we’ll see. At this point, there are no committments to anyone or anything and we’re just getting to know each other.
