Aggressive Christianity Conference
So I’m away this weekend in San Francisco for a Salvation Army
"http://sayconnect.com/AggressiveChristianity.html">Aggressive
Christianity Conference. Actually, I’m sitting in a parking lot
right now picking up on some Free WiFi (and legal–gotta love San
Francisco). Anyway, last night I had the chance to hear our Keynote
speaker, General Gowans, who is retired. I’m not sure what I was
expecting from him, but he is a wonderful speaker. I’ll update more
when I get back or as I go along, but so far, it’s going well. On
some levels it is good to be away from my home church and meet new
people. Nothing against my church family, it would be great if they
were here with me, but occasionally it’s nice to get out of your
comfort zone and worship in new ways. Anyway, enough about that.
It’s breakfast time. Oh, one other good thing is that I’m getting
to stay with my friends Souen and P.J. while I’m up here. I won’t
get to see them a lot because of my schedule being here all
weekend, but its still nice to be able to do a little catching up.
I’ll leave you on a scripture verse we talked about last night.
When I first read it, it made me re-think my whole idea of what
“aggressive Christianity” really is.

“Dumber”
So I made a new mix tonight on Jamglue. Just messing around, but its a lot of fun. Seriously, you should check it out. Let me know and I’ll send you an invite.
No commentsJamglue: Something for the musicians
I got a Beta invite to Jamglue , an online community for creating and sharing music. Basically you upload your own non-copyrighted tracks, or find something on the site someone else uploaded and mix it with any other tracks you have or can find to create your own music.
Here is an example that someone on the site put together. It’s composed of 3 different uploads by different people. That’s Mike Tyson talking by the way.
Anyway, so far, I’m liking it. There are programs and other online apps that do similar or the same thing but I’ve had the easiest time working with this one. It’s still in beta, so they are still working through some things. A friend of Ross’s is one of the co-founders. Anyway, I have some more invites, so if anyone is interested in giving it a try and giving some feedback to them, let me know and I’ll hook you up.
Here is some more info about it too:
No commentsFirefox 2 RC3 mouse over
Okay, I know I’ve done a lot of techy blogs the past couple of days. Sorry to my non-technical readers. Anyway, I’m looking for a solution. I just downloaded RC3 for Firefox 2. I haven’t done it yet because a few of my extensions that I rely on didn’t work it yet when I tried it before. Some of that has been resolved. However, I’m looking for anyone who can give me a suggestion on a replacement for Tabbrowser Preferences. There are other extensions that will do some of the things, but I have yet to find another add-on that selects the tab on a mouse over. I hate clicking on tabs to go to that page! It’s driving me nuts and could almost make me enough to go back to Firefox 1.5 until the final version is released. Hopefully someone will come up with a solution to this very soon.
1 commentIE7
So, I downloaded and restarted, etc..and opened IE7 about 10
minutes ago. It still hasn’t loaded the page, or any page for that
matter. I’m sure it was just a bad install. I’ll give it enough
courtesy to try it out at least. That is if I can ever get it to
work. Seriously people, I couldn’t make this up if I tried. And if
you haven’t already,
