Crumpled Notebook

Headed out on my trip today. I nearly missed my flight because the shuttle driver at the parking lot I parked at was way late. Slept a little on the plane. The place I’m staying tonight is kinda weird. It’s actually a normal/nice-ish room, nice staff, but looks a little crazy on the outside. It probably isn’t that bad, but it’s raining tonight and it’s kinda out of the city. When I pulled in, I had a flash back to the motel I stayed out on my drive to California when I moved. The first night I didn’t have a reservation anywhere, and pulled into some place late, didn’t pay much attention, but it was spooky. This place, pulling in, looked just like it. Deja Vu.

Tonight I’m staying in Brookfield or nearby. Somewhere near a zoo. The people I’ve encountered so far, which isn’t much, are kinda weird. Burger King and airport people were just rude and rushed, even at times when there is nothing else going on. The motel lady though was cool. She could be from Kentucky.

Anyway, tomorrow I’m off to the White Sox game.

So, I’m trying to decide which documentary to watch next. One on Gandhi or on on Dafur. I got a couple days. Suggestions? I’m trying to educate myself and when I get new netflix, get 1 movie and 1 documentary. You know, so I know about history and stuff…heh.
